"Sunshine Factor" Red Palm Oil supplement for keets?

I was wondering if anyone gave their hookbills Red Palm Oil (Omega-3) supplements like "Sunshine Factor"? It's supposedly a good supplement for larger parrots like African Greys - but what about for Bourke Parakeets and Budgies?
