Bourkes are my absolute favorite grasskeet! I am expanding too!! Their personalities are wonderful. I have an indoor walk-in in one of the bird rooms. Yrs ago I kept young bourkes and over 2 dozen owl finches in there. I would go in to clean and do visuals on the birds and I always had one or two of the bourkes either on me or tugging a shirt sleeve or following me around.

I have had to step in for some new mom's and help hand feed out one or two of the babies but most of the time the parents do a great job!!!
