Sheather a_gouldian thank-you It is nice for the two of them they love it,ordered it at king cages it was the only big one that I could find with a play top that bar spacing was 5/8.Enough room for Valentino to fly but has nice bars for Bogart to climb.Over a year and the green one Bogart's wing never grew back on one side :(

Nice cage, and your budgies are lovely. I have a soft spot for green budgies, yours is adorable.

Lovely looking cage, and such a wonderful Birthday present. Those two look like they're loving it :D

Regarding wings growing back....
Wings cannot grow back ever. It's like an arm, or part of an arm being amputated.
Feathers on wings can grow back sometimes, depending on the type of damage.
Broken wings, can sometimes heal and mend, but usually unless set by a professional, they don't work well afterwards for flying.

lovezebs When I first bought Bogart I did have his wings clipped that's why I always thought they would grow back and I think they did but for some reason he was missing I think what was called a blood feather (not sure) I think one of the other birds in the cage with him picked on some of the birds and that's the feather I don't think will ever grow back.If you look in the picture it's the longest feather on the left side.He jumps and climbs great.I think in this cage he gets more excerise then in the double flight,so that makes me happy

Wow! Beautiful set-up..Looks like Birdie Paradise. Your boys are gorgeous, too. I've had several American Budgies that were wonderful pets. Had been thinking about getting a pair of budgies, a canary or possibly two male Society finches Think I'll check further into English budgies. Quieter/calmer/less messy would be nice...and keep my husband happier. Do they like to play with toys? Better to have two for company?
Thank you for the pictures & posts

FinchLady we have ours right in the living room they love to play with toys they are leary of them at first but then they play with them. They use there feet a lot so I have made the mistake of buying them those toys with shredded rope and had to throw them away(they wern't cheap eathier)they have gotten there nails caught in them once so know I am very careful on what I buy for them. They use there feet to push one another when they are playing like karate.it's very funny to watch.
