I have a very sick graskeet. He is has been sitting on the bottom of his cage all day. He tries to fly to a perch but can't make it. The only thing I can tell is that he has crust on his nares. He also seems to be a bit shaky and can't keep his eyes open. I called the avian vet and made an appt but can't get in until Thursday afternoon. Is there anything I should/could do?
Thanks,
Layne

Re: Sick Grasskeet
It's too late. Henny just passed away. He had a very strong convulsion and just died. This makes me very sad. Henny was my favorite bird.

I'm very sorry for your loss. There was probably nothing that you could have done, as this happened so fast. It's hard to lose any bird, especially a favorite. Good luck with your remaining birds.
