Sick Grasskeet

Post by dunker817 » Tue Jul 11, 2017 7:27 pm

I have a very sick graskeet. He is has been sitting on the bottom of his cage all day. He tries to fly to a perch but can't make it. The only thing I can tell is that he has crust on his nares. He also seems to be a bit shaky and can't keep his eyes open. I called the avian vet and made an appt but can't get in until Thursday afternoon. Is there anything I should/could do?

Thanks,

Layne

It's too late. Henny just passed away. He had a very strong convulsion and just died. This makes me very sad. Henny was my favorite bird. :(

I'm very sorry for your loss. There was probably nothing that you could have done, as this happened so fast. It's hard to lose any bird, especially a favorite. Good luck with your remaining birds.
