Male or Female Parakeet
To all the parakeet people please help me. I have no idea whether I have a male or female parakeet. I have looked online but have found contradictory stuff on the subject. I have three other parakeets that I know the gender of, 2 males & 1 female, but this one I don't know. It's all white (albino I think) so its hard for me to tell. Please help.
I have four pictures of the bird, 2 with flash and 2 without.

Re: Male or Female Parakeet
Looks male, the cere seems evenly pink and smooth. My female albino's cere was light blue to tan. My male's was always pink.

Re: Male or Female Parakeet
I can't be sure of eye color in those photos. If red it is an albino but if black with white iris rings it is most likely a Double Factor spangle. Dark eyed clears can be white or yellow mimicking inos; will have plum colored eyes but won't develop the usual eye rings at maturity.
I suspect that it is a double factor blue based spangle and not an albino. That is based on a faint grey cheek patch and some faint blue or grey behind the eye.
DF spangles are rarely pure white [or pure yellow if green based] and will have some very washed out bits of the original base body color. These can be pretty inconspicuous and are considered an exhibition fault.
In any case I'd guess cock bird based on the cere color.
