Can my aggressive parakeet be put in a large flight cage?

Post by Squibeetos » Mon Jun 18, 2018 7:53 pm

He's 4 or 5 years old and has never been out of his cage in his entire life. He's always been untamable and tries to bite me, and my cockatiel when he flies on his cage, and when he does bite, he does not let go. Would he mellow out in a cage with other parakeets + possibly finches? The flight cage is 40"x30"x72" width length height. Pictures are of the him and the flight cage.

It's a female.
She might be happier in the flock of other parakeets. With so many, she couldnt pick on just one. Try it out, and if she is chasing and causing trouble after a day or two, take her out.

Sheather

I've always wondered if he was a girl! First place I got him from said he was a boy, another place said he was a girl, and then it went back and forth. His nose used to be light blue for about 5 months then it completely changed to burgundy. I still call him a he since I'm used to it but anyway, I think I'll give it a go. I'm hoping he'll make friends instead of enemies
