Hello hook bill section,
I was given this beautiful budgie as a gift, as I can it is a Lutino red eyes, Im trying to figure out if it is male or female?
Any thoughts anyone scratching my head with this one ???

I love lutinos. Really good ones are not common. Hope you breed this one.
Ino cere colors are more subtle than in normals so ID can be tricky early on.
Hard to be sure from the lighting in the photo. A head-on shot in better light would help.
Male Lutinos And Albinos Always have a pink cere with no white in them even as babies
Hens have white to pale pinkish orange in the cere and it will become brownish when in breeding condition. Full cere colors may not be pronounced until they are about 6 months old.
This could be a youngster which makes sexing a bit more difficult.
I'm kinda guessing at a hen.

Thank you, yes I was also leaning female as well. Yes rarely do I see lutinos around my area.
