Finally babies!!!
Daisy and Jesse finally figured it out. We've two chicks 2 days old today, well-fed and cared for! I'm stoked.

Oh they look like little DUCKS!!! Congrats on the babies. I just love diamond doves. They are really lovely birds.

They are oh so adorable as babies! Surprisingly large when they were just 2 days old!
I can't say I've ever had diamond dove newborns. I'd love to though, as they're just so wonderful and lovely. Sweetest little birds ever!
Are diamond doves precocial? I didn't think they were - I know that mourning doves, other dove species and pigeons are altricial - but the 2-day-old photo shows them very large with a whole lot of fuzz so it's got me wondering!
They're looking great now! Can't believe they're so big and already flying!
Are these little ones staying with you? Or are you rehoming them?

Congrats on your precious babies! I recently had some hatch also. You need to enjoy them as babies now because the are the FASTEST growing birds I've ever had!!! Thanks for sharing!
