hi all. :D nice to meet you again.

after 3 years keeping this small doves and their descendant (I have now about 150 of them) yesterday I had this, cream color that might be a fawn? before this I have this only the normal blue, white rump and white tail.
been looking on the net but information about diamond dove is very little.
so can you help me with this?
thanks in advance, Jim.

Beautiful bird! Will it stay that color or molt out?

well I guess you re right, a couple years back I noticed that one of the fledgling slightly looks like this. but I didn't have the time to investigate. they live in a 160 sq ft aviary. so it grew and molted to maybe a normal white rump now.

so time will tell, I already put rings on it, I'll be back in a few months.
