Got a pic of baby Penquin Zebra?

Post by soloisok » Sat Jul 17, 2010 5:10 pm

I've combed the internet but haven't found any pictures of new baby Penquin Zebra finches. I'd love to see some if any one has any or knows of a web address on which I can view them.

Taken from efinch: http://efinch.com/species/pengzeb.htm
Fledgling: It is very odd to see young Penguins as they are not what you might first expect. They look very much like normals, complete with tear marks and gray in the cheeks. The only clue is the frosted tail of the fledgling. The Penguin pattern appears after the bird molts into its adult plumage.

The pix above is just what 3 of my chicks look like.
But until they molt into their adult colors I do not know if they are penguins.
I had 1 of my penguin pairs produce a pair of CFW hens, so until they finish their molt, I can't say for certain that these 3 are penguins.
