Online Finch Suppliers

Post by VM0572 » Sat Aug 11, 2007 10:24 pm

Can you share some of the online suppliers/wholesalers you've had good experience with when buying finches? Please share a web address too. I'm looking to buy finches, and have come to the conclusion it will have to be over the net. Thanks!

I've used the following sources (I've noted the birds I purchased from each):

Birds Express - Red cheek cordon bleus
Maryland Exotic Birds - Lavenders
Exotic Finch Loft - Swees, Strawberry
Singing Wings Aviary - Rosy Rumps, Strawberry
Emerald Isle Aviary (Jim Heffernan) - Red cheek cordon bleus
Karl Lieberman - wings_36@hotmail.com - Swees, rosy rumps

I've heard good things about:
Floyd Barnett at: 404-768- 0697

It's a no-no here as well, unless they are "poultry" - chickens, doves, etc. These folks all ship via the airlines for about $100 per box. I live 10 minutes from a major airport in Washington DC, so it's really easy for me to pick them up (wish it was as easy for me to pay!!).
