What Colour Are Your Zebra Finches' Eyes?

Apparently, wild Zebra Finches and pet Zebra Finches are slightly different in appearance. While pets are usually ashy-brown, wild ones are pale brownish-grey. Wild females have a tummy that is almost as white as the male's, while pet ones are more pale cream colour.

What was also interesting to note is that wild zebras have red eyes, while apparently most pets have dark brown eyes. Why is that?

What colour eyes do your zebra finches have? Dark brown or red?

For me, most of them are red.
