Green Singers and Weavers?

Post by NaOH55 » Sat Sep 29, 2007 11:54 am

So I checked out the local petsmart today, and to my amazement they had a beautiful pair of green singers. But they were in a cage of about 6 to 8 orange weavers. Is this a safe combination?

the only problem is that they are both species that get really nasty when they are breeding..they usually live well together but if you put a nest in the green singers will start to defend it ..even though weavers do not use a nest box...the only way to keep them is without any nesting material but if you do put any nests in they will neeed plenty of room

I checked back in on the singers, unfortunately their heads are showing a little too much definition, missing neck feathers. I sure hope it doesn't digress any further...
