Cubans Building a Nest!!

Post by BigBear0007 » Sat Mar 12, 2011 2:49 pm

Yesterday I put in some Timothy hay
in the bottom of the cage.
This morning there was a basket full of hayl.
So I gave them some cut up burlap,
and then took the dog for a walk.
Half hour later, when I got back,
all the burlap was in the nest basket.
So now I gave them some more burlap, and the hen
went to it right away.

To say I am happy would be an understatement!!

What surprises me most is that I have only had them for a week!

I am as giddy as a school girl! :D

I have been breeding birds for over 30 years in one form or another, and it never gets old!!
