Any other serins available in the US hobby?

Post by Rowdy Hotel » Wed Mar 09, 2011 11:28 pm

I know about the green singing finch but are there any other serinus sp. available in the hobby in the USA? I would've love to own wild canaries, the ancestors to our domestics today, but have never seen any.

I'd love to get some of those in the future, the only ones I've ever seen are green singers. What about the ancestor to our domestic canaries, serinus canarius?

Yes it is also available. Singing Wings Aviary, Birds Express, Texas Pride Aviary are sources you can check out.

Just my two cents.. I sell a lot of the Green Singers, my most favorite singer in the bunch is the Grey Singer & the Citril's are my favorite for the coloring & markings..
