hi
i was doing that yesterday,i have found a pic of my hand reared zeb called ollie.i found him in the bottom of the aviary and it looked as if he had been attacked by the quail, because is upper mandible was pecked away so every time i came to feed him i had to clip his bottom mandible away and file it down with one of those cardboard nail files .i was fortunate that i didnt cut his tongue  anyway he did make it to the aviary but i always regretted it because he always flew on to my shoulder when i went in there
