Little Mr Serious is starting to eat on his own. When he is done he parks himself in a spare nest or next to a parent...sits all fluffed out and resting...with the scowl look he reminds me of the game "Angry Birds"!

Thank you...4 seems to be the magic number with this pair, they were raised on little seed, mostly pellets (Zupreem fruit blend for finches), dried eggfood like Quiko or Higgins ProTeen 25 snack attack ground w/pellets, Herb Salad and BOILED EGG!!!

Sally I can now relate to you buying out the eggs in the grocery store...my birds love this.

I turned on the cage lights, the babies came out with the parents, mom and dad were waiting to feed everyone, standing in the spot where I put the boiled grated egg.

My other pair are on eggs again...hopefully they will get it right this time.
