I mix it up by the gallon and keep in the refrigerator for a few days with no problems.

I may have to sprinkle it on his soft food. I did not realize how RED it makes the water. He does not like anything RED. He does not go near red bell pepper or tomato. I covered the water tube so he can't see the water in the tube, only in the trough section, I hope he drinks the water.

If he drinks, I will mix it in a larger amount.

That's funny he doesn't like red.... the bogena will make everything red :shock: Hope he developes a liking to the color red...just don't show himself in the mirror once he's colored back up :lol:

It is real odd he won't touch red bell pepper, and my wife told me when she put tomato in the cage he acted totally afraid of it.
But he will eat carrots and yams. Although he leaves them for last, after he eats the green veggies.
