Thanks everyone!! He is a busy boy all day long in the aviary. I can hardly get him to stand still. That picture was taken from quite a distance so I am going to try to get a better one. It doesn't do him any justice!

do they always molt away their green feathers and turn all yellow and red head? They're beautiful but I do love the look of green and yellow body color. Looking forward to seeing another photo!

I am hoping that he will retain some of the green. I love the mixed green and yellow best also!! Time will tell with him.....

! Some parts of the country are so lucky to be able to purchase and breed so many beautiful finches that I'll never even get to see! So thanks again to everyone that posts photos!
