Thanks everyone!! He is a busy boy all day long in the aviary. I can hardly get him to stand still. That picture was taken from quite a distance so I am going to try to get a better one. It doesn't do him any justice! :)

do they always molt away their green feathers and turn all yellow and red head? They're beautiful but I do love the look of green and yellow body color. Looking forward to seeing another photo! =D>

I am hoping that he will retain some of the green. I love the mixed green and yellow best also!! Time will tell with him..... :lol:

I sure am green with envy :mrgreen:! Some parts of the country are so lucky to be able to purchase and breed so many beautiful finches that I'll never even get to see! =D> So thanks again to everyone that posts photos!
