Napoleon and Josephine My Fourth Pair of Gouldians

Post by BigBear0007 » Wed Jul 20, 2011 11:48 pm

I picked another pair of yellow backs.
The male is a red head, purple breast, split to blue.
The hen is orange face, white breast, also split to blue.
So now I have three pairs of yellows and one pair of mixed,
dilute male band normal hen.
I will post some pictures tomorrow.

I already know what I want next, I want a pair of blues!

But from what I have been reading you want to breed a blue to a split to blue, not blue to blue. So you do NOT want a pair of blues.

Nice looking birds! Male looks almost SFYellow in the picture, though it's probably my monitor.
Good luck!

It is your monitor Deb.
He is exactly the same as Romeo.
They could be twins,
but I got each from a different source.

The hen appears lighter due to the white breast, Very pretty :D
