Post by tobyneilson » Wed Aug 24, 2011 7:19 am

As some of you may kbow i recently lost one of my owl finch, leaving me with just one owl. It is in a flight cage with 2 pairs of silverbill. They all get on fine, just wondering if i shoul upset the balance and get anorher pair of owls or a single owl or leave them be?

What sex is it? If it is a male you can try two hens. Owls are pretty social, once in a while I hear a little scolding and it is usually a youngster that comes to close to another adults nest...other than that the owls love the company and get along great. A pair may not be to bad but two males and a hen might cause a little tiff now and then.

(Buy more than one pair!!!! )
