That's great news on the Strawberries. You may save the species for US Aviculture! Maybe someday some of us on this board will be able to get some decendents of yours. I'm glad someone capable and committed like you was able to snatch up these birds. It would be a shame if any breeding age Strawberries are around nowadays, that are not being set up for breeding.
You might even want to considering fostering, if any of the new Strawberries lay eggs but won't sit on them. Their genes are too valuable to waste.
