Got 5 GoldFinches today... 3 cocks and 2 hens... will use the spare cock to mule with some fife canaries... Its very popular here in Ireland.

Also got a ,Cock Bullfinch waiting on a Hen, hard to come by here.

Will get some pictures when I can.

Making some big changes with the birds I keep,
Will be getting rid of a lot of my Foreign Finches, All my Zebras, Socs, Hecks, Javas.
Only ones I am Keeping are a Pair of Cherrys and Owls, will be purchasing some Gouldians too prob two pair.

Congrats on the new birds. I would love to get my hands on a bullfinch pair... they are hard to come by here also. Best wishes on acquiring a hen in the near future.

Siberian Bullfinches are Common enough and So are the Irish Native Bullfinch Cocks. But its the Hens that are hard to get, most breeders wont sell the Hens as they are hard to keep so any they breed they keep and if they do sell... its for a lot of money.

Still a lot of illegal trapping of the wild birds as a result.
