hi there i just have a question to ask,,,can you house gold finches and ruddies and golden breasted waxbills together,,and also anyone know the right finches that i can keep without a licence,,,,cause they only give me the basic list...of painteds,,zebras,,stars..and gouldians,,,,but i need to know all the ones i can keep thanks,,,,been breeding javas,,for the last 8 years,,,now want to make a mixed collection,,,please help,,,thankyou :roll:

It will help people if you tell us where you live.....I can't help you because around here no licenses are required.....I'm sure someone will chime in if your locations listed...

I am not familiar with those species. Go to your user control panel to add your location permantly. Good luck and I hope you find the answers you need. There a few people from Sydney on here with beautiful birds and aviaries.

i thank god for that everyday, we are so lucky that we do not have to get any licenses whatsoever to keep domestic animals.

you should go to the "australian finch forum", there you can meet people from sydney and they will be a lot more familiar with what is and is not permitted. you can swap deals and they will be awake when you are lol :mrgreen:
