Mailing zebra eggs would be the same as when Tiffany and I mailed gouldian eggs to each other. We did learned a few things, some the hard way.
#1 plan the day you ship. The mail stops on the weekend, and on a cross country shipment, that could be enough to cut into the window of viability before the eggs have to be incubated. Although in reality you can't do too much as you can't control when the birds lay their eggs.
#2 pack VERY well, as the post office will break the eggs if they can. I think 2 of my 3 shipment to Tiffany were totally or partially damaged. Tiffany wrote up good instructions on packing eggs.
#3 weather. If the mail get stopped or your receiving office is closed (like if it it sent to the work office) then the eggs could sit in a COLD post office and die. One of my package to Tiffany got stuck in the Washington DC snowstorm that closed down the city and many offices.
#4 your home mail box. If the eggs sit in the mail box in the HOT sun all day, it will probably be cooked. If the box fits into my mail box, my mailman won't take the box to my front door.
