I wont deal with him. I called and left 2 messages on the good number ( one was disconnected) and never heard back. To me thats bad practice. I think after reading how to breed them I may steer clear of it and just enjoy him.

I'm sorry, but I find it a little questionable that this breeder (maybe broker) has Purple Grenadiers, Strawberries, and all those other Asian and African species? But especially the PG's and Strawberries. I'm thinking his list is outdated, personally. Let us know what he says. Good luck!
Many brokers do not update their list on the website, just leave the same list up all the time. It is very frustrating to think you have found some birds, only to find out they are not available. Just as frustrating is when they don't update their prices. A warning on Strawberries or Purple Grenadiers--check out who you are dealing with on any of the more rare species. As prices go up, the crooks come out, buyer beware.

Cath, I see you aren't far from Chicago. I know they have bird shows/marts in that area, I just don't see any listed on the calendar. I will look for those, and post them next week.
3 Purple Grenadiers, 1 Goldbreast + 1 cat.
