It depends on the species. Check out the Helpful Finch Link at the left for which species get along and which are too agressive to house together.

the latest "Just Finches" magazine has an article in it about housing parrots & finches together, there is also an article on housing different finch species together. great reading
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.
