Oh, that's awesome!

My cordon bleus are FEEDING some babies right now! We all sit and listen for feeding times to make sure they are still alive, and it's getting louder each day. We've been hearing them for about a week now.

All year long my pair have tossed clutch after clutch, and I had given up completely on them, thinking I would never get any CB babies. I still am not holding my breath, but I am crossing my fingers and praying to the finch gods to please let these little ones live this time. [-o<

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! I had four babies, but lost one. The other three are really doing well...they are soooo cute!!! Mom and dad are still protective of them, but every day they are getting more independent. Can't tell if I have males or females yet.

Keep us posted on how they progress. Best of luck!!! [-o< [-o<

Thanks! I almost didn't even want to comment for fear I'll jinx it.

How long will it take for them to color up?
