I will get a female gs for our cage bred male gs soon. You think it is ok and he can bond and mate with a wild caught female? Because where we buy our birds they only sell wc birds in large aviaries. Unless some of them breed inside in time i guess.
ps:I hope you don`t get mad cos i spammed the forum with questions. I thought it would be better to discuss different questions in different topics so it would be easier to help the other people searching the forum.

Honestly, I don't think it would create a baby big problem for the two birds. That said, you might find that your male might become more flighty with a wc mate, as well as any chicks they might have.

Wish i could find a F1 gs female here. I definitely prefer non wild caught but it is almost impossible unless we go to a bird mart i guess. Hmmm there is one in 3 dayslovezebs wrote: metinemre

On the other hand, your cage bred bird might help the wild caught bird settle more in captivity. The only way you would know for sure would be to give it a try.

You should go on FB Birdaholics Page and post a looking for add. I bet you will find a CB GS. I got my CB GS from Martie, in Upstate NY. I bet she would ship you a hen! Her birds are healthy and beautiful!
