I recently got this finch, is he.male or female also what kind is he? His songS
are very beautiful never heard It from a zebra finch before. can he mate with a white zebra finch?

it is a male but the picture is light, rather small... can you get a better close up and include a picture of the bird from the side please. Need to see the back, tail

My guess is it could be a fawn or lightback cock.

not a lightback, looks fawn, all the black markings are brown
