Those are Black-rumped Waxbill (aka Red-eared Waxbill).
You folks get the coolest birds in your backyard!!!

I don't see the black rump/black tail of the Red-eared or Black-rumped waxbill. I think I detect a bit of barring on the body, which would indicate a Common or St. Helena's waxbill.
3 Purple Grenadiers, 1 Goldbreast + 1 cat.

I too think St. Helena's, or Common Waxbill. I don't think they are Red-eared but I could be wrong...
