isobea I've only had Gray Singers in cages, and they have been very territorial, hanging on the sides of the cages to try to see where the other male is. Your aviary is so big, that may make it work, but I have no experience with it. Perhaps with that much space, and no female to fight over, they would get along. My BCCBs and Grens (males) get along in flights with no females.

I have two Green Singing Finch males in a 16' long aviary, and I haven't seen any squabbles. It might be a different story in the spring, though, as breeding season gets here.

Sally and Dave - thank you for sharing your opinions and experience! Since very often the personality differs from one bird to the next, I decided to 'test' my male by taking my computer outside and playing songs of other grey singers for him. He got quite agitated and right away started singing very loudly. So he might not be the best candidate for sharing 'his' aviary with another male. Especially in the spring (like you said Dave).
