I agree it is a hen. The colors are much more vibrant on a cock.

Well I hope that settles it once and for all, although the appearance of eggs will probably be the final proof. Maybe that's why I had difficulty breeding Goulds all these years, I can't decide which ones are pairs - lol. :lol:

Hen for sure! See the blue band around the black mask? That is what I was talking about in my other post. It is not blue enough or plentiful enough to be a male. I am fully confident it is a hen. Good luck!!
