I just saw a posting on craigslist where a person is selling a mocha brown zebra finch. Has anyone ever seen one of these and can you please send me pics? What kind of babies would it make with a normal grey? Please respond asap. Thanks in advance.

First of all, anyone who is advertising a "parakeet finch", is not anyone I would buy birds from.

Second of all, I have never heared of a "mocha brown zebra finch".
The nearest possibility might be the Fawn mutation.

You've also been told that the mutation zebra hasn't been heard of and as far as I'm concerned the mutation does not exist,

I've bred and exhibitied zebras for over 30 years and pretty much know me mutations etc

Is it worth 15?..........my answer to that would clearly be a big NO,

You also keep on putting on yer posts reply ASAP, there's absolutely no need to put this, we can all see this and will respond when we can, your quote appears to be force full

Ok so you may well be a beginner and need to know and understand about bird related issues but there are ways and means of expressing and need to listen when you've been told info by others who may have many years experience, this would be a big help to yerself

This is a very active and useful site. There may be occasional idiots and scammers as there can be anywhere but that doesn't negate the site's usefulness.

paul-inAZ just in my opinion I wouldn’t trust it because the first thing I hear about the site it was something bad and yet again few days later there was another post about it just seems like there’s always complaints.

I get they will be good people on there but I just wouldn’t
