Hi,
As the title says, looking for Blue-capped cordons!
I am in NE Florida, more than happy to pay for air shipment.
Lonely male needs company.
Thanks so much,
Lauren

Sunbay - Hi Lauren, I'm in the same boat as you. I've been looking for a female blue cap since October 2016. In fact I know of several people here in southern CA who are also looking for females. There just aren't any available from the importers anymore and I guess hardly anybody is breeding them in the US at this point.
Good luck! Let us know if you find one.

There's a bird fair in Jacksonville on June 24 at the armory off of I-10. I've seen Cordon Bleus at the bird fairs in Orlando. Maybe find one at the Jacksonville bird fair.

Sunbay - Were you able to find a female?
None available in our corner of the world

but I'm not giving up yet. Hopefully my male won't be too old to breed by the time I do find a female.

There are some cordon bleus in the Marketplace on this forum for sale, but I don't know if it's the kind you want.

We have a pair of BCCB's but last breeding season they only produced one male and we were lucky to find a home for it locally. Hoping for better luck this coming breeding season. Regardless, we enjoy having them. They have been a trouble free pair for us.
