The yellow-faced mutation is not as flashy as the red one IMO, but I still think they look pretty nice. What do you think?

I actually like the yellow faced ones better. The red ones kind of looked like Turkey to me (because of the red face). I didn't really like them that much.

Yes, they’re quite active and the male sings a lot, as well. I thought the societies songs would overwhelm his since they’re many, sing frequently and loudly, but we still hear him clearly, which is nice since I like the way he sings.

No, they’re currently in quarantine. Eventually, they’ll be with my societies.

wildbird he’s doing well there is a few minor differences he’s got bigger and he’s started to get black patches over his head and the beak is started to change to a light brown instead of black he’s also got new pin feathers coming all over so be interesting to see if these new pin feathers are new colour.

I’ll add a new picture on the topic later if i find time
