The parents are doing fine, very secretive are they... But they feed the chicks great, in my opinion. Pics will follow, but I don't know when, the parents are sitting so tight, you have to take them out of the nest to see the babies.
didn't try that, so.
I'll probably wait till the chicks fledge. (IF they will of course

)

oh I wouldn't pester them if they're sitting tight, I waited to get pics of my babies until mom and dad left the nest, then I'd stick my hand and camera in and snap off a quick photo or two. I don't know how finicky firefinches are about nest checks though so I'd wait until they fledge. They probably look a lot like every other baby bird, downy at first then with pin feathers

This type of firefinches is very very secretive, at least mine are. The normal Firefinch is easier on that, but I never had them, so I don't know.
I'm so excited they really have chicks!
