Need More Info On Village Weavers!!

Hello All,
The hubby and I are picking up a pair of Village aka Black Headed Weavers tomorrow but can't seem to find too much information on them. Has anybody had experience with these birds? I have a whole list of questions I've put together for the breeder. I hope he doesn't get annoyed with me lol. Thanks for all your help in advance and I look forward to showing you guys pictures of them tomorrow!

I have bishop weavers but had a friend that had black headed weavers. Just one pair in a mixed aviary. They were aggressive and he had to cage them. Eventually he sold them to someone else. Hope your guys are friendly

Well they're going to be housed by themselves for now. I was considering putting them in with our canaries because they're of similar size and aggression level. Thanks for the heads up though!

They should be fine with canaries as long as it is a sizeable flight. Just be careful with finches. They are beautiful birds. Can't wait for pictures
