My New Gouldians

Post by lovemyfinch » Fri Aug 07, 2009 12:22 pm

Took a one hour drive each way to pick up these 2 beauties. $140 for the pair. She feeds her babies to the end.
She's a BH PB split to white BB
He's a RH PB GB split to blue. Can't wait to see the results. I saw their last clutch and 1/2 are BB's.

They were separated into sex cages when I got them, put them in the quarantine cage and he started singing and dancing right away.

wow, great deal on the blues.

Wish i had that luck. Finding any blues in this area is very hard.

Do they sell any blues in Atlanta bird fairs ?

I don't know what it is, but I have such a hard time replying to your posts

Anyway, very nice Janine! I love your blue girl, and that's a great price. Almost like getting one for free! Ironically, I paid the exact same price for my new pair, I think we both did pretty darn good :)

Best wishes for beautiful blue babies :)

This time I did look at the bands before I paid. She is an '07 he is an '08. :D

Last night after lights out I went to check on them and they were all snuggled up together on their perch. I have never seen my other 2 do this. BTW I named them Bluebell and Red. :D

I am looking forward to the outcome of these 2, he is supposed to be from a male OH PB GB split for Blue, and female I'm not sure how it is said Salmon H, WB BB. (Both parents were on sight). What I would love is a BH WB BB. According to the genetics programs I might be able to get one.
