JAMESON FIRE FINCHES

Post by dfcauley » Thu Sep 17, 2009 6:39 am

If you remember this summer I bought a pair of Jameson fire finches. When I brought them home the male could not fly. I kept them in a cage for about a month, moved them to the aviary with accomodations...... Now the male is all healed up, flying all over the place to the highest perches and is building a nest for his girl.

He has the most beautiful song in the aviary with the exception of the strawberry.

He is a beauty, very stunning. And I agree, their song is lovely.

I am sure there will be chicks in the future.

That's soo awesome that you help rehabiliate him! Can't wait to hear that they've started breeding and seeing some fledgings over the next few months. =D>
