A few photos of wild strawberry finches for the forum

It is almost impossible to take pictures of strawberries in the wild, so here are some of caught ones, sold at a birds market.

 "Wild strawberries" are not always " in the wild".They are sometimes on sale at the birds market. Photos were taken there with permission of the vendor.

I heard that wild-caught strawberries die quickly because they can't get the same nutrition they were getting in the wild.. :?:

Wild strawberry vs Domestic ones

Post by BB » Mon Oct 12, 2009 11:51 pm

There's a stark contrast between wild and domestic strawberries. Aside from the colors, the wild ones never have overgrown toenails like the one you see in the picture (Permission is asked of "Our Moscow collection")
