Thanks Randa and Craig!

Honestly I did not even look around at the show - I just picked up the supplies and birds and left as I wanted to get the finches home to start settling in asap. I should have looked around as I understand now that there were freebies being handed out (rather LARGE samples of birdfood). Next time... But for sure I won't be buying any more birds for quite a while. I can't believe all my cages will be filled once these two sets of Parrot Finches are out of quarantine!

Oh YES it is wonderful hearing them sing/chatter all day long :!: =D> It is not often when it is quiet enough to hear a pin drop in the birdroom. It's like a bright, sunny spring day, everyday, in there. =D>

Hey - Janine, guess what? Sundance was going into the nestbox quite a bit this morning :!: =D> I hope he entices Cassidie to go in as she has not laid her egg for today yet. However she has laid 4 already. I don't know if she will lay anymore...?

That wonderful news Liz, is it possible that maybe he has started incubating? His parents usually start after they laid the 3rd or 4th egg, and she usually lays 7. BTW his parents have been sitting now for 4 days, this time though I have no idea how many eggs and wont be able to give any news until they hatch. They built a front wall that cannot be seen through, and she is sitting waaay in the back (I guess they want me to keep my snoopy nose out of their business this time  )
