Maybe getting a ZebrA

I maybe getting a Zebra for my B-day. But I have now clue... Will they get along? I have 2 Females (A spice and society) that get along fine. But will a neww addition cause some problems?

What Is in my cage:
A nest w/Material
Perchas
Food/water (Duh)
two plasctic toys
a bamboo plant

I need help! :roll:
Finches:
Dot - Female Society
Speckles - ??? Spice
~a new mamber of the "Flock" soon to come!~

Anytime you add a bird to an existing flock, even if that's only two, then you run the risk of upsetting the balance.

I would get rid of the nest for starters. It will eventually cause trouble.

And Zebras can be pushy and pick on other birds. Any time you mix species in a cage, you have to watch for compatibility. There is a compatibility chart on the Finch Information Center that lists which species will generally get along. And even within that chart, you will find individuals that don't always get along, so it is often trial and error.

You could also try just adding one female zebra finch to your existing females. I bet they'll all get along.

how large is your cage? You might want to think twice about adding a zebra since they can be pushy and if the cage isn't very large that could exacerbate agression issues.
