I suppose a lot of this comes down to breeding back ground as well, I have a couple of bengalee in with my Zebs, and they never bother them never pinch nesting materials from the others.cindy wrote: I agree...years ago I had this happen. My societies raided the zebra nests and tossed/killed zebra hatchlings and chasing the zebras out. I finally removed the zebras from the flight and built them their own flight enclosure.
I suppose it also comes down to how close your Society is to a true Bengalee, the only difference being isthe Society is a Bengalee Hybrid. Even tho a lot of people have also different views of the bengalese as to whether or not that is a hybrid its self.
So i suppose it comes down to back ground in generations
i suppose you do get aggressive groups, but not all flocks or small groups will be like this, i have about 35/40 zebs now, and sometimes my canarie will pop in there and say hi, and the some of the zebs will end up preening her.
I find that if you have a medium size cage to put your new birds in to, and put this cage in to your flight/ avairy then it would introduce them to your existing birds in a nice gentle way, so they cant get to them to hurt them, but they can have a look around and get close enough to maybe form some sory of bond
