Yay! Got my OCW's today!!!
Well I just got back home from the local pet store with my new, what I hope to be, orange cheeked waxbill pair! There is a big difference in both, the 'male' has very vibrant orange cheek patches and a slightly bright orange patch on his underbelly, where the 'female' has very dull orange cheek patches and a very light murky yellow patch on her underbelly. So only time will tell! I will update this post with picks once they settle down and get adjusted.
Oh and a update on the bronze, they are sitting tight and so far (feathers and fingers and toes crossed) are being good first time parents! Hope everyone is doing well!

Good for you!
One of the most exciting thing in birdkeeping, except for new chicks, is bringing home a new bird(s).
Wishing you best of luck with them (and the Bronzes).

PICS PICS PICS!!!!!!!
My Orange cheeks are one of my favorites. They bond so closely and hardly ever leave eachother's side. I hope you enjoy your pair too!
I've found that sexing orange cheeks by color is very unreliable. There are so many different genetics out there, it's easy to get a dull male or a vibrant female. What I thought was my female ended up singing an intricate song. The "male" doesn't sing at all. Since there are such drastic differences in yours, there's probably a much larger chance of the sexes being different.

Congratulations
I think the OCW is one of the most entertaining little birds, with their little tail that never seems to quit flitting back and forth.
Good luck with your bronze wings. Hope they do well

Thanks everyone! They are very cute together! I do hope they are a pair as this will be my first attempt at breeding waxbills!
The female does have orange on her vent but when compared side by side with the male it is more of a grayish, or brownish orange where the male is like bright orange. So I dunno?
As for pics, my digital camera is dead and I have no batteries, tried taking pics with my phone and posting but they were to big
