How exciting...There is nothing like getting new finches! I hope they do well for you. You have a very nice home set up for them.

Thanks everyone! I love them, especially the goldbreasts! They make the cutest little high pitched sounds to each other!

I read Doug Taylor's postings on the African Finch Forum - he treats his flock like kings & queens! Congratulations!!

Congratulations!
I didn't realize Doug was selling yet? He talked about not selling for a few more years while he works up his numbers.

Congrats!! Goldbreasts are the cutest of all finches, OC's come in close second. I hope to get a pair soon, right after I find mates for my owl and star.

Thank you everyone!
Doug sent me my new finches for free, he had large amounts of societies and GB's and orange cheeks. He also wanted to help me get started, and so I got some of his birds! I was very happy and glad to be getting birds of his, they are in excellent condition and are currently recuperating from the long journey. Once they get settled I will try and get more pictures. The GB's are slowly getting to where they do not panic as bad as they first did when I come around. I love them! They are the cutest things together!

Congrats Brant. That certainly was nice of that fella to give you those birds. You sure have gotten bit by the finch bug, big time.
