I have no experience with mixing these two, but my Strawberries are very passive, so don't think they would mix well. I have a pair of Strawberries in a flight cage with a pair of Cordon Bleus, and they have gotten along very well, breaking the 2 or more than 6 rule, but they are all passive birds. Exception: Cordon Bleus will be passive till you introduce more Cordon Bleus, then you will have serious fighting.

Again, Owls are more passive. Zebras are more pushy, so it is harder to have them in a mixed community. The best thing to do is look at the compatibility chart on the finchinfo site. There you will see the species that usually can be safely housed with Zebras. I love Zebras, great beginner bird, full of personality, but as you expand into other species, it is harder to find something that will stand up to them. Due to having a snake in the birdroom, I had to move all my birds to a smaller area, and combine occupants in cages. It took a lot of juggling and trying different combinations till I had peace! I got a pair of Owls this spring, and they wound up in a flight cage with 3 female Gouldians--again, not necessarily the ideal, but they all got along. The one pair of Zebras I still have live in a flight cage with a male Green Singing finch--once again, breaking the rules by having 3 birds in a cage, but they get along OK, because they are all pushy birds. All this mixing took lots of time, constantly checking on cages and watching for problems, and not something I would want to do unless forced to. And you always have to have a backup plan in case the birds don't get along. Of course, this is using cages, not aviaries, but you still always have to keep compatibility in mind.

I have had Strawberrys mixed with Owls and Zebras with no problem. They all got along, but the size of the cage and the temperment of the Zebras can make a difference. Some Zebras are more agressive than others especially when nesting.
If you dont want to take any chances and have limited space, you could skip the Zebras and go for the Owls and Strawberrys. The Owls are so cute and the Strawberrys have a beautiful song.

Finches are like potatoe chips. You can't have just one.
