New Birdies

Post by jamezyboo21 » Fri May 21, 2010 4:32 pm

I have added a few more birdies to my aviary. Here are the pictures.

I decided i would try Bourkes even though there not finches. They just looked really pretty and they were very calm and not loud.

I also got a pair of Fire finches. I love them already and was thinking bout getting another pair. I had no idea they were so tiny which was even better because i only want the aviary to have the tinier finches and the bigger finches have there own flights.

James...they are lovely :!: Those fire finches look so alert and lively :D I love bourkes, as I do all the grasskeets. Bourkes can see pretty well in dim light and can get quite active at dusk and early night.... sometimes spooking the finches.

I am going to be at the bird mart first thing Saturday morning.Going to shop :D I will be looking for you :D You still have my number?

I love your grasskeets more, lol. There so pretty and so brightly colored i wanted a pair of them but Rhonda only had Bourkes. I have the bourkes in there own flight because the other finches are so tiny compared to them and there really frightened by them. I am definently gonna be at the fair and i will see you there for sure, I will be there with Shaun. I have both your house and celly number. Im so excited the fairs tomorrow, Yay! Rhonda will be there with a lot of owls and she will have fire finches and a few other finches like javas, goulds, red eared waxbills, red cheek cordon blues and others. I think she is bringing a few parrots and budgies as well.

Remind me to tell you about some scarlet grasskeets tommorrow. A great deal if the lady is for sure about getting rid of them. See you tommorrow :D

You will love the Fire finches, they are wonderful little birds that seem to get along with most everyone.
