Well done, Janine!
PS - You're home early.
Misty - I just lost my Blackface Fire female too and they WERE breeding for me.MLaRue wrote:Liz looking at your hen - I think it was the Blackface fire female I lost and not the Jameson's - she is way tooooooo pink/red compared to your female on the head.
You are correct, Misty - Fardad and I are not too far that we cannot drive or meet part way.MLaRue wrote:I also didn't realize you were so close to Fardad! Goodness you have access to his Grens and VE's if you wanted!
An exhibitor doesn't necessarily know the in's and out's of their birds. Subspecies can be difficult to ID and I surely would not have known if it was not pointed out to me.konkata wrote:Those are some beautiful birds! I can't believe an experienced exhibitor would make that mistake...or maybe he did it on purpose. You just never know how and why people do things. Glad you got it sorted out though!
They did breed and hatch 4 eggs. Unfortunately they also tossed them and I was too late in finding them.MLaRue wrote:Btw - did yours breed or are they breeding for you?
