Thanks, Anna, Debbie and Misty... I don't claim to be a smarty
Just an enthralled student of these magnificant finches :D They truly do fascinate me more than any other bird I have ever kept or bred.... other than maybe the zebras or colorbred canaries. I think that with these species the range of mutations make them an endless adventure....

Shucks  ... Thanks Anna, Misty and Debbie. I don't claim to be a smarty  Just an enthralled student of these magnificant finches. I think the gouldians have captivated me more than any other finches that I have kept or bred. Except for maybe the zebras and colorbred canaries. I am sure it has to do with the endless mutations possible along with the great personality and trainability of these species.

Thank you all for answering my question, you have given me a lot to ponder:)

I must say there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum that is why I come here at least 5 times a day! it has gotten to the point that my boss will say "when you're done with the finches could you do..."
we work at a pharmacy so he knows all about addiction :)
